The camp

8 days / 7 nights

Designed for intermediate and advanced foilers, the camp pairs a maximum of two riders per boat with coaching tailored to each guest’s goals. Sessions focus on foil control, line choice, carving, pumping, and linking sections of the wave.

The daily program follows ocean conditions. Arrival includes equipment preparation, safety guidance, and a short orientation to Chicama’s protected surfing environment.

Fernando Mizo is a professional foil athlete and instructor with experience across Prone Foil, Tow-in Foil, SUP Foil, Wing Foil, and Parawing. Based in Santos, Brazil, he has built his career at the intersection of high-performance competition and progression-focused coaching for riders of all levels.

As an instructor, Fernando guides students from their very first flight to advanced technical refinement, always prioritizing safety, real progression, and a genuine love for the sport.

Fernando represents F-ONE and Manera in a long-standing partnership built on a shared passion for foil. At Chicama Foil Club, he brings that international experience to Peru’s world-class conditions and one of the world’s longest waves.
